Frequently Asked Questions

What does it mean to be a volunteer?

Answer: Your role as a volunteer is voluntary. Your role is to help support women's spiritual growth and development via our products, services, and events in your assigned role or on your assigned project(s). We are blessed and thankful for your willingness to serve as a volunteer in this ministry. The giving of your time and resources to support the mission and vision God has given us means the most and never goes unnoticed. Thank you!! 🙏🏽🫶🏽

What are project-based volunteer assignments?

Answer: They are ministry assignments that focus on achieving our administrative, operational, and financial goals. Each project has a clear beginning and ending and we are usually focused on one every quarter (with breaks built in) every year but timeframes can change. Volunteers on project-based assignments may volunteer for 3 months only or can choose to volunteer consecutively on multiple projects.

What are role-based volunteer assignments?

Answer: They are ministry roles that focus on developing our products, services, and personnel objectives. Each role has a specific purpose to advance the mission and vision of our ministry as good stewards of Jesus Christ. Roles are typically long-term commitments resulting in a year to two years of dedicated service.

What are the ministry's products and services?

Answer: Our ministry provides services that point women back to God and help women to get connected and thrive in the right local church. We achieve this via Bible Fusion Bootcamps, Bible Fusion Bible Reading Plans, Online Store, Online Directory, Events, Newsletter, Blog, YouTube Channel, Digital Workbooks and more.

Do I have to attend every single volunteer meeting/training?

Answer: You are encouraged to do so; however, we understand life happens. We only ask for you not to miss more than 2 meetings in a quarter and to notify your Ministry Team Leader (MTL) if you are unable to attend a meeting as soon as possible, preferably 24 hours or more in advance.

Where do I find everything I need? (i.e. forms, contact information)

Answer: The ministry informational website is your only tool, and it’s available to you 24/7, woohoo! (you're currently on the website if you're reading this :)

What if I am having issues, problems, questions, or concerns?

Answer: You are encouraged to pray first about everything, then search the Ministry Informational website, and if you still need help go directly to your Ministry Team Leader (MTL) at: https://www.iamlashondra.com/ministryvolunteersabout. We are here to help!
